View Full Version : Online Lobby NO ACTIVITY!

Okay. I made a live account(silver) but for some reason when ever I go into the lobby there is absulotly NO activity in the lobby at all. Is my interent connection screwy. If it is how did I post this then? I activated my live account and everything even billing information. I turned off all firewalls too. Did this happen to anyone or does anyone know the answer. I called microsoft AND bungie tech support. microsoft gave me 4 different technicians and none could help me. Bungie gave up on me and said I had to get a new activation code.

I usually load the game, let it auto-log me in. Then I wait about 20secs before heading any further into the game. That way live has a chance to do whatever it does to contact the server list. If you jump the gun, the list does not populate.

Give that a try.

Bungie has tech support for this?

Anyway, you have to be patient, play by yourself in Network for a bit or play in Campaign. It happens to people, just wait a bit.

Does it say "Not Available" in the bottom right when you select LIVE (before going into the Lobby)

Very rarely that happens to me but all i do is go into "create game" start the game than exit it than all of the servers show up in browse. But since you have silver that won't help you at all.

I'm taking it you can sign into live in-game because you said you can try to browse servers so your in-game connection does work. <-- if thats not true say so.

Are you sure that your firewall isn't blocking Halo 2 access to the internet. Because that is what happened a lot to me on Halo PC

Crap. Nothing worked I called bungie then they sent me to talk to 4 different techs. Screw it I'll go back to Xbox 360.

Well, it just happened to me...
I noticed some people in my server so I might as well wreak havoc on them...

But there was the usual "Not Available" in the information box. So I played a bit of campaign, the first level and went back to play on multiplayer. Oh lookie! There were numbers! I could now join games and I would press Alt-F4 after a few minutes.

There's definitely something wrong at your end.
