UT3 or Crysis

I was just wondering which game you would prefer to get. I'm deciding on which one I should get. I find each are pretty good but I need some more opinions.

Crysis. I cant stand the gameplay of UT. I just dont find it fun.

Unreal Tournament 3 -- because I like its ability to be ripped open as wide as it can be. (... and I like instagib and Onslaught{warfare})

You might want to ultimately buy Crysis now though... because both will be good... but Unreal Tournament 3 will only get better and better as time goes on. Crysis probably will stagnate... so it'd be best to play it while it's at its prime. UT3's prime will still probably be another 12-18 months away after some homebrewed content explodes its possibilities.

I don't see Crysis being a big hit with multiplayer but with the CryEngine 2 out there, just imagine what kind of mods could be created. There are already some pretty interesting ones in development currently. Check out InCrysis (http://incryis.com) for more details on the game, mods, and player community base.

UT is just more fun than Crysis (for me). And (again, for me) Crysis/Far Cry gets really boring to look at after a while, which is why they HAVE to have amazing graphics. Just jungle, water, more jungle. But the map editor is pretty sick, considering how simple yet expandable it is.

To Zeph: I don't understand how you could like Halo but not UT. They play very similar, (especially games like Vehicle CTF/ Sandtrap) but they just have different pacing to them.)

i liked the pace of halo better.
but im still getting UT over crysis, because i'm not going to make stuff for crysis, and am going to make stuff for UT2k7.

also, UT2k7s singleplayer will be awesomeness.

I find that Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 had the best multiplayer pacing for a game.....EVAR!!!!!

also, UT2k7s singleplayer will be awesomeness.Meh, its pretty Unreal Championship 2-ish. The C&C style of it is pretty awesome... but its mostly just tournament stuff (bound together by stories) according to most recent reviews.

Again, UT3 will get better and better as time goes along.

From my point of view the Unreal series isn't that exciting. The idea of killing someone else for a form of entertainment doesn't thrill me (whats ironic though is thats what everyone here has in common, through video games). It's not so much a gameplay thing, just more of a feel, and I'm really picky about it when playing games. However I not only loved the crysis demo, but the feel and concept of the game I find superior to UT's.

Crysis all the way.
