portals info needed

Trying to find some tutorials or info on building and applying Portals when creating your map?

Tried the search button, looked in Ghosts tut resource, no luck. :(

The HEK tutorial explains what and how to setup regular portals. They aren't that hard to understand. For exact portals, you just close off, maybe a door, and then change those new faces to a new material (+exactportal). Portals are (normally) just planes that you stick through the bsp. Make sure they extend outside the height width of the map they are passing through. Same goes for horizontal portals.

It was not passing them completely through the outside edges of the BSP that was causing it. Thanks, I extended the sdge so it was clear and all is well.....;)
