I'm looking to buying a new HDTV for Xbox 360 and this is a pretty tech savy place to ask.

I'm going to get a smaller one, so should I go monitor or HDTV?

What brand would you suggest for either?

Monitor...it's more HD then you'll ever have.

Get a 30-32" Monitor. They'll run around the same price for 32" LCD HDTV but it will obviously have better resolutions to play at.

you can get a nice 32" HD LCD that can be both TV and computer monitor. I was at Coastco today adn they had a 32" Sharp full 1080p display for $549.99. I know thats a little over, but thats your ballpark.
