After the failure on my last attempt, here is another attempt. This time it will be one nominee per categorie. Here is a basic template:

Best graphics:
Best audio:
Best innovation/creativity:
Best map placement:
Best tag:
Best gameplay:
Best H2 or H3 port:
Best overall map:

In one week I will start the voting for each of these categories. You do not have to post nominees for all of the categories if you do not want to.

That sounds kind of funny coming from someone who's still relatively new.

Best audio: Ironically, CMT
Best innovation/creativity: Asteroid
Best map placement: I don't understand this category
Best tag: Z teams beam rifle
Best gameplay: Fissure Fall
Best H2 or H3 port: H2 backwoods, it's not really a port, but it's the best "H2" map I've ever seen
Best overall map: Fissure Fall

It would have been nicer if the thread maker had included a bit more structure and explanation to his post. Some of the nomination categories are pointless or hard to understand what you mean.

Nobody really cares about audio and by graphics you should say the most visually pleasing. "Best tag" could mean a lot of things, and Best overall map is what we're trying to find out at the END

In the end the point is to find the winner of each of these categories, not just the best map. And you have to admit that some maps sound better than others.

spartan123209, if you're wanting to try and do this again, write up a thorough explanation and other guidelines. I dont have a problem with this, but it's no better than your previous 'attempt' which you said was a failure. If you're serious about this, spend some time making this 'contest' worthwhile then PM me with what you've got.
