I would love some input before I buy these tonight. Tomorrow I am receiving a Pentium 4 Dual core processor for free. I'm not sure the exact model, but I'm pretty sure it's LGA775. In any case, I would be replacing my AMD 3200+ Venice (it's sad, I know) and my piece of shit DFI nForce4 Ultra-D motherboard. Keep in mind that I am on a budget, but still want to have an option to upgrade to a Core 2 Duo/Quad later along the lines.
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813128059)
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820231098)
Are these a good buy together? I would love hear what you all think!
