I'm noticing, or it could just be me, everytime I try to look at art at deviantart and search for something I have on my mind to photoshop, or bring back memories... Well I usually get it flooded with anime crap. I mean I don't dislike anime but I searched for Coffee Shop and it came up with this (http://voluptuhoney.deviantart.com/art/Coffee-Shop-Kidnapped-65715111). I guess it's just oh no teh internetz big dealz but it's really starting to bother me. I may be ranting about something completely useless and stupid, but I for one am really getting sick and tired of seeing Anime girls with big boobs, revealing clothes and mini skirts basically everywhere. Although what I found may not be anime, but it's close enough to pass for it in my books. I could go completely off and look around for it, but now everywhere I try to look, has been flooded with anime. I'm not saying it's not art, I'm just saying it bothers me that most of these drawings are a bit disturbing. I've been looking around for just a simple Coffee Shop or Jazz Hangout photograph, like in the city. I don't really have anything to say except wow what the f*ck.

The reason I posted this, is because it's really starting to become a bother in everything I search. I may just be a shitty searcher or an ignorant fool but I don't see any advanced searches to narrow down my simple request.

In the world today, art could be classified as a splotch of water on a piece of paper. We have lost all sense of what and what art is, there are those idiots who find the simplest and most idiotic things to be art... It really bothers me. I'm an art fan yes, because I do enjoy looking at the contrast, hues and variaton's of photography. My main interest in art is mostly photography, because it's real. Drawings can fascinate me, but thats just me.

I really can't judge what's not art anymore, caused by the idiocy of the way art is judged nowadays to promote motivation. Truth hurts, but so does lying. I'm not trying to be a smartass, just stating a point for all of you out there.

Art truly has been twisted to all vantage points to where pissing on a wall can be considered art by scene artists. I can only be reminded of the purpose of the Dada Movement, which was to make a mockery of art, and to add insult to injury, people actually thought the mockery of art was the new art. As such, we have Duchamp's toilet still being a famous sculpture that many admire as a great piece of "art."

My favorite definitely has to be Picasso. If a man can get drunk one night, throw paint over a canvas in a low-perceptive state, and then make an art movement out of it, then it should definitely tell you something about people.

Yes, that is true, it's very simple and done in the masses. Though, I will admit there are some very breathteaking peices with the "anime" style, though with actual artistic use.
