'97 Subaru Outback Impreza Sport. Oh wait, nvm, my mom was driving it and some asshole knocked her off the road with his trailer- she's fine, but the car's totaled. And now the guy whose fault it is is taking my mom to court over it!
I loved that car, and I was just a couple of months away from buying it from my parents so it would have been mine! *cries*

My mom got sued once for being hit by some idiot who wasn't paying attention to the road.
She was driving by a building, and the dick rammed the pedal down. In the end, it looked like she hit him.
Also, Nissan Pathfinder apparently.

[obviously its a googled pic as i have no digital, original photos of my darling]
BMW Isetta - Im not a big car nerd so idk its exact data. When i bought it, it was already a bit pimped up. [bigger engine with max speed around 110 km/h =68.35 mph, slightly better seats, a nice job on the isolation -> you can have a chat with your mate without shouting at 110km/h, and a decent, blue paintjob].
only thing ive added is a kick-ass but not pimped out, sound system, wich fits in quite nicely in the desing of the car as the speakers are humbly hidden under the seats.
trust me, this car is ideal for summer trips and is fun to drive.
also, the ladies luv it, and so do i. :)

Ouch, that sucks. I passed mine on my first try even though when attempting to back around a corner I jumped the curb twice. I guess I got one of those, “I really don’t give a fuck and want to get to lunch brake” guys.

Sometimes I envy you foreigners and your harder driving tests. In the US any idiot with or without a brain can get a license on the first try. There are some complete morons on our roads.

Sometimes I envy you foreigners and your harder driving tests. In the US any idiot with or without a brain can get a license on the first try. There are some complete morons on our roads.
Uh, it actually depends what DMV you end up going to and who your driving instructor is. The first time I took my driving test I failed it because I had Hitler in the passenger seat setting up cones for NASA security personnel. No joke. I had to make a right hand turn into a parking space without tapping the cones, and the cones were inside the parking space. I looked over to him and figured this was a trick question, and told him I wouldn't park there because the cars are clearly over the parking lines into that space. He didn't even look up and marked something on his clipboard. So I repeated myself and he said, "Just make the fucking turn."
So yeah, you can imagine that I did, in fact, tap the cone, and that was an automatic fail in his books. Once again, depends on the DMV you go to and who your driving instructor is. I ended up going to the same DMV, had a different instructor, and passed the test with flying colors. The fact of the matter is that anyone can get their driver's license as long as they meet the requirements. Your problem, Rob, is that you probably think a lot of the people driving on the road have driver's licenses, when, chances are, they don't. About 1/4 of the kids that drove to my old high school didn't have licenses.

Harder licence tests? i wouldtn be too sure bout that one. in my experience, if you took enough lesson, wich equals giving the driving schools enough money, theyd just push you through.
when i had my test, my teacher kept pedaling [he held the break when i was supposed to wait on stop signs and near those stripy pedestrian thingys] and hint-coughing so it was actually more like a cake walk.
so i think we euro folks just have a bit more restrictive catalouge of street behaviour. for ex. we were teached to use the umm flashy orange flasher a lot.
however its not like were all decent drivers and there are actually a lot of assholes on the street over here too. especially young and older drivers are bound to behave like total assholes or nubs.
i for one, think that tourists are by far the best drivers around.

Damn you all...I'm not 16 yet so I can't take a driving test. Oh, I turn 16 on Monday though. But I won't take the test till summer of 2008.
I'm hoping to get a Toyota Prius or a Camry Hybrid as my first car. My mom might let me drive her 2006 Audi A6, and my dad will razor me before I even touch the gas pedal of his 2007 Lexus LS 460.
Here's the car I might get if it were brand new:
http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/autoreview/400x266/2007-Toyota-Prius-06812221990003.jpg
It's Japanese, so it obviously owns all American automobiles. And who can beat 50 mpg fuel economy?
Or, if I get a used car instead:
http://images.automotive.com/reviews/images/01bmw7series.jpg
1995-2001 BMW 740i E38 model, powered by a 4.4L V8. It's a big car with the agility of a convertible plus superior handling. Best of all, there's this retailer in Vancouver that only sells used German cars from BMW, Mercedes, or Volkswagen (which owns Audi), so I can easily pick up a BMW E38 model.

It's Japanese, so it obviously owns all American automobiles. And who can beat 50 mpg fuel economy?
Volkswagen Golf/Jetta/etc with their little turbo diesel. They range from 55-60 mpg. A colleague of my Dad's runs one of these to work every day, and that's 55mpg while driving in town most of the way.
Anyways...
My ride is a 1994 Chevrolet Astro EXT. 4.3L V6, RWD, with a few custom options on it (visor, bug deflector, running boards, ventshades and a spoiler which looks silly on a van). However, it is currently sitting in 3 feet of snow drifts and is unlikely to be moving in the next day or two. I'll have to hitch a ride to College tomorrow unless they close it like they did today.
I'm waiting for someone to make fun of me for driving a minivan wannabe (it's got a truck frame underneath it, whereas minivans traditionally use a car frame). Someone can also laugh at me for being unable to attain 50mpg. Yeah, try 26mpg on the highway, and 18mpg in town.
And I have a 12' aluminum Harbercraft boat with oars. Its main purpose is to sit in the yard and oxidize until we finally go to a lake one of these millennia.
