(Their new website) (http://www.activisionblizzard.com/)

Uh... huh.

So, if this is true... and Activision, Vivendi, and Blizzard all did merge into one super-company... dunno what to think of it.

Uh, Vivendi has owned Blizzard for quite some time now. Kudos on Vivendi buying Activision.

Activizzard or Blizzivision?

In any case, this is monumental in the industry.

Activision Blizzard is what they are calling it, but I think on Blizzard's games it will still say, "Blizzard Entertainment Inc."

The new company is called Activision Blizzard. Blizzard is still called Blizzard Entertainment.

Those were pre-Vivendi days, and Diablo wasn't produced by Blizzard.

Also, to clear up the confusion, Vivendi is having Vivendi Games and Activision merge, and the end result is Activision Blizzard. Blizzard isn't actually involved in any way. They're just borrowing the name for the new company.

They are, indeed, involved. There just wont be any noticeable change to the way they work.

Agamemnon

Their involvement will be extensive in the sense that they'll pull off five or ten people off from Blizzard Entertainment to work on a title for Activision Blizzard at any given moment. Not even a fraction of Blizzard Entertainment's work force is being involved, and I mean the guys that have been at Blizzard before it was owned by Vivendi.
