thats what it looks like in the ce version, its just alot darker so it doesn't matter.

meh, its the same model and textures from the ce version, with fog and a darker atmosphere, it will look alot better.

I agree bacon that the lighting totally throws off the atmosphere... but even so since it's Halo 2 it should be a bit more detailed... with some more cracks and pits in the level maybe.

to be sure, copy a .sky to a new folder, reference that in your scenario, then edit the new .sky. Rerun lightmaps.

Hm... Any chance of the platforms and such not being flat? Y'know, like the hills and such in Backwash. It should add to the effect you're going for. At least, I think so, but what does an audiophile know, XD.

Glad to see you're doing this. One thing Jcap and I always thought would be cool is if some of those platforms were actually part of a massive tree comming out of the ground.

Actually that sounds sick. Give it a (Backwash? Backwoods? The one from Halo 2 not CE) theme, that would be perfect. Make the ground more uneven, add some pools of rotten swamp cocktail and open up the sky/tall walls. Savvy?

Other then ^^that^^ been an obvious bump (duh), but to start from the bottom up;

Those 'things' you refer to as 'pubes' are plants indigenous to the halo rings forerunner environmental creation or flood created...who knows. But they can be seen in Halo 1's Single player level '343 Guilty Spark' and Halo 2's Multiplayer level 'Backwash'. But someone who hasn't studied halo for over 3 years, may be oblivious to this fact, and should 'get their facts right' because blasting them.

And it's far from a butchered version of Hang 'Em High, as it’s a new swing, on an old classic, so I suppose anything that’s done to put a twist on an old this is 'bad', but I’ll hold you to your opinion. But you shouldn't write so 'finally' as it is a W.I.P, remember that when writing comments. Be constructive, don't just blast the map.

And the way people make maps is there choice, although you like to express that he should do something 'original' with the map, well open your fucking eyes, this is original.

Now go back to school before you get your panties in a bunch over a map, also learn a little about Halo before you make blind statements.

I was planely stating that it would look much better properly textured. Maybe in an assish way and for that i'm sorry. And the reason i asked "why not do something original with it" is because i read that its ported from halo CE. Who know, it might be awsome in MP.
