This one (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2943578&CatId=1410) looks like a great deal to me. Thoughts and suggestions? Post 'em.
If you're going to recommend one, it should at least be:
-wiiiiiiiiiiiidescreeeeeen
-good contrast ratio
-resolution above 1280xwhatever
-19 or 20 inches
-bright
-a viewing angle that doesn't require that I tilt the thing until it's diagonal to see it
-Under $200 USD

Viewing angles appear decent, and it is 19" with a 1440x900 resolution. The Newegg ratings are pretty good.
EDIT: sorry I didn't see your link at first. The 20" one looks better.

i'll vouch for acer products.
Don't get the cheap ones though, the disparity in quality of their products is rather jarring.

I have a samsung 22 inch, monitor. It can run very high resolutions and it has TV capabilities, Sadly that cannot go upto the high resolutions that the PC input can. (H2V Recording w/Fraps in 720p no lag)

mine is the 3000:1 contrast ratio, 1920x1200 res, 400cd/m2 model. not bad, considering most others from big names didn't match it.

Please don't let this thread turn into an argument over whether a member uses a small TV as a monitor.

My GF got this one for her computer. Its pretty descent 19" for under $200. The viewing angle is good enough for it to be used as a tv as well if coupled with a pc with a TV tuner.

That's almost exactly the same as the one I was looking at before I was looking at the acer.
