I have recently acquired a new laptop with a 32MB graphics card, however ingame none of the advanced settings are available. In other words it still looks like the 16MB graphics card.

I know the card is capable of halo, as ive seen it run halo with all the bells and whistles before, but for some reason it doesnt work now.

It might just be me needing a new driver which Ill get to soon, but any other things that you guys could tell me might be causing the problems would be nice.

I have an ATI mobility radeon 7500 which meets all of the requirements with T&L

Stupid question...But do you have -safemode on? >_>;

No, I dont.

Atleast Im pretty sure I dont, it doesnt ask me anything when I start it up telling me somethings wrong with my graphics hardware.

So unless it automatically enabled safemode, which I doubt, no, I dont have it on, or in my command line.

WHAT?!

Well lets say, new to me :D The actual computer is 3 years old.

My old one had a 16mb :(

Uh, the ATI 7500 can't do anything but fixed function, so all the options should be disabled.

:/

Memory doesn't mean much until you start talking about textures.

Basically your graphics card is too shitty to run HCE/HPC. Even if you could run it without useff graphics you would probably get 2 FPS.

32mb is enough to run it... as is the card.

Okay, that clears it all up, thanks.

Halo CE still runs at 60FPS consistently so its a big improvement over before.
