Christmas Get-together

Every year my family gets together on the 22nd of december to have fun and share gifts. This year however it's a little different, we're doing.....mexican food instead of the traditional ham and other stuff. Not the most traditional but what do I care. (everyone else was really skeptical).

Do any of you have similar events in your families? :0

Not really, every meal is usual, and then on the 25th I just skip breakfast and rip open presents :D

Yea, mine's similar. Christmas Eve with Grandma and Aunt, then Christmas morning with my parents.

We open the presents on Christmas Eve after it becomes the new year. We always go to my aunt's house and chill there.

At my house every December 25th we throw the big Christmas Jam around 6PM EST till whenever. My house is quite large so A LOT of shit goes down here. No sexual shit, Emmzee. A few years ago my cuz threw a Coke bottle across the hall and the top part where you twist the cap to break the seal hit my other cousin across her forehead and sliced it. Not too deep but she still had to go to the hospital to get it check out.

In the basement the parents are usually down there and all the men are drinkin the hard stuff. On the main floor we got most of the boys taking turns playing Xbox(usually knock-out rounds of Halo 2 and Time Splitters 3) in the T.V. room. Girls are usually in the living room, gossip goes on at the dining table next to the living room( which is where I'll be this year :D). Now upstairs where the bedrooms are even more cousins on 4 PCs playing Halo PC multiplayer over LAN and Internet. On the laptops people would be on Facebook/MSN. Then we'll blast different music on all three floors of the house.

I have sooooo many realatives. My mom has 12 other siblings plus their children(avg. of 3) then my mom's cousins come too with their kids(avg. of 3). The place is always packed and tonnes of food is always good.

I go to my grandmother's on xmas eve. There's ham, turkey, etc. Present exchanges take place then.

After that ill probably fall asleep in the shower, then get waken up by my sister bitching that i take more time then her. Then ill probably open my presents, bitch that i didnt get what all i wanted, then go play some lineage.

Our family has been the same every year and we were actually GOING to do mexican food but we ended up with Italian.
