For me, it's because there's NOTHING under the christmas tree because my parents decided I wasn't getting a 360. Urgh. Then I don't get to see family because of a stupid fight. Then Jason is going to pittsburgh, so I don't even get to see him.

Then we have no TV til the 28th.

I didn't get any camera gear, just a bunch of books and food. My dvd drive decided to die on me, so I wasted an hour trying to fix it. I ended up having to install a new fucking drive. When looking for screws to screw my new drive in, the whole huge box of screws we have fell on me and spilled all over the floor. I had to pick every fucking thing up by hand as somebody decided to throw away all our fridge magnets.

On the upside, I got a wad of cash, so I guess I'll be buying myself a present.

Finally I can install UT3 and listen to ma Led Zeppelin Mothership album. :3

Well.. It's only December 25th at 2:30am here right now... Just finished watching STAR WARS Episode 1-5, I need SLEEP, I can't bear to watch Episode 6 tonight... As for presents, the Christmas tree is about 4 feet away from my 4 Oh-Clock position when I'm sitting at my computer. My parents decided that since I'm 17 fucking years old, they could just bring the presents up while I was playing LotRO... Looks like a decent haul this year.

you guys want a shitty christmas? how's this. i crashed my car into a snow back wednesday, all the money i have for christmas shopping i had to give to the tow guy to get my fuckin car out. fucked up the bumper and that'll be about $600 to replace. the next day i got my license suspended for a speeding ticket i got back in august, the day after that my neighbors 7 year old daughter got sucked into a snow blower and was in critical condition for the past few days. not to mention she was physically dead at the scene but they revived her (she's slowly coming back now).

but all things aside, christmas day was awesome, got to spend it with the family who most of which i only see once a year..

Can't go to Canada to celebrate with family cuz my uncle up there is sick and my dad broke is leg pretty bad, no presents yet (well we aren't very into the whole season anyway), have lots of art-related shit to do and last minute college apps to send in. Stressed as hell and there are no friends to be found anywhere.

At least I might maybe get a 360 + h3 somewhere along the line? Or a Lego set? and once my apps are done I'll be sorta relieved?

Loot-wise, Christmas was OK, but I didn't get a single item I can use without spending more money or having to wait two months, except the chocolate and two LEGO sets (which I built faster than you can say "LEGO Star Wars").

The bad parts include me having to go get stitches because I received a split-lip and the fact that I can't do anything with my friends because everybody is tied up with everything for all of this week, but they are still in close proximity.

Compared to some of what I've read here, though, my Christmas would be considered grand, so I'm not actually going to complain.
