No. CCP always nerfs the ship/module I'm going for two weeks before I get it. I was going for a nano-battleship two weeks before the patch that gave them stacking penalties. I was getting high level research agents and two weeks later, CCP nerfed the t2 lottery. I was going for a Sabre and then the speed nerf came out with Trinity. I'm going for a Golem now and you know that'll be nerfed shortly after I get it.

edit: What about headphones? I've been itching for a set of 5.1 headphones here lately that would work well with my laptop. I'd need a 5.1 sound card for it if I were to make full use of it, so how about those as well? Do the 5.1 headphones work well with simple stereo or are they really suited for surround sound only?

i've got one of those, they work great with just stereo, and give mroe than enough "surround" feeling. i've got a program that takes in all sound, and applies minute changes to the time in between the left ear and the right ear, and the brain does the rest to make it sound like perfect surround.

i'm pretty sure you don't even need that app to get that effect though.

HD555's aren't 5.1 but to my knowledge no touted 5.1 Headset truly dilvers 5.1 and the HD555's do a damn fine job with both amazing sound quality and directional sounds. They are good enough for Counter Strike: Source pro's to use as their main headphones and thats saying something.

Then there is a 360.

Or, for headphones, you can get the Astra A40 Audio System, MLG's premier Headphone gaming system, with supposed 5.1.
