Halo PC/CE Graphic Issues

Well, when I first got my 8800, all was well, not when I play for more then 5 minutes, I get insanely bad graphic lag and weird tearing...

Ideas?

Are you running no vsynch? Try 30 FPS if you are.

No, just use VSync so the frames don't go higher than your monitor's refresh rate so no tearing but no real cap on your FPS.

What drivers are you using? If its anything above 162.22, that is most likely your problem. I had the same issue. For some reason anything above that version fucks halo up.

Yea, I'm using the latest drivers... Should I roll back?

I'm using VSYNC.

I found no other solution, so I guess you should. I didn't because I hardly play halo anymore.

I also get tearing with my 8600GT if I'm not running at 30fps.
