First off I'd like to say sorry for stomping on KIWIDOGGIE by just throwing this out there.
Anyhow, in relation to this (http://www.h2vista.net/forums/showthread.php?t=7931) thread. I have taken the liberty of throwing up a TeamSpeak server for anyone who cares to make use of it. This server should remain static unless my ISP decides to change my IP address (which shouldn't happen since I'm on a static service). The server is running the latest versions of both the TS2 server itself, and TS2PerlMod. The server address is 68.147.205.84 (http://www.modacity.net/forums/showpost.php?p=271525&postcount=14) / 68.147.215.84 (http://www.modacity.net/forums/showpost.php?p=302544&postcount=15) / 96.51.92.101 (http://www.modacity.net/forums/showpost.php?p=352573&postcount=24) / 174.0.56.34:8767, there is a 32 person limit on the server. When you join, go to "Self" then click on "Register with Server". Then you can talk and make UnRegistered channels.
If you wish to apply for a server admin position, please contact me via PM on these forums, or by talking to me in the server itself and tell me why you think yourself worthy of administration powers. Also, if you wish to contact me about adding channels for games that you and your friends play, please contact me via the above methods as well.

So if I register, it goes away after I close connection?
Nevermind, it just didn't save the first time.

Nah, once you guys register, you can make Unregistered channels. So once you leave the server, and the channel is empty, it auto-deletes itself.
Also, PM me if you want a registered (always be there) channel for any other games you play... This isn't limited to the Halo series for PC.

Well you shouldn't play music from your speakers when on TeamSpeak. It's is not proper internet etiquette :eng101:.

Sheesh Boba, as much as we're eager to hear you yelling into our ears (I don't speak for myself or the community) you'll just have to be patienté and hopę.

Oh... Mines been up for awhile now, IP changed and I forgot to change it here... Oops...
New IP is:
68.147.215.84:8767
My ISP gives me a static IP, but they had to change it a year or so ago because of some network issues in my community...
Also, I realize the server is currently based around my old clan (|R| Revolution, formally {HR} Halo Revolution), I'm going to change it so that it's based on the Lancers Edge (http://revolution.exofire.net/lancersedge/) server.

Update: IP changed again due to my ISP "upgrading" the internet connections in our area, see the first post for details.

Well its a whole heck of a lot better than Ventrillo since there's no limit to the amount of user slots available! Though Vent does make use of better codecs.
TeamSpeak 3 is going to be awesome though.

Amount of users allowed in a server > quality, configuration and administration ease??? The maximum amount of users allowed in a vent server is hard coded to 200. That's more than enough to fucking satisfy the entire fucking halo community. Every game I've played, in every league, people use ventrilo. Teamspeak is simply out of the question due to how obvious of a heap of garbage it is. Not to mention it's incredibly easy to hack/manipulate teamspeak servers. It literally takes seconds to brute force SA, its pathetic. So unless you have a fetish for joining ginormous voip servers that have 500 people in them from all stretches of the internet, ventrilo is the blatant program to use. Sorry, but you are an idiot if you think teamspeak is superior to ventrilo in anyway.

Administrating on TS servers is way easier than on Vent servers.
Free vent is limited to 8 users.
Every clan I've been in, for every game I've played, has used TeamSpeak.
It's extremely difficult to hack/manipulate TS servers if you're running the proper third party add-on.
I believe we had a poll about which was superior on Modacity here, there were like 53 votes for each side, and it was constantly neck and neck because neither is superior.

There's multiple programs that add additional security for TeamSpeak servers. I'm personally using TS2PerlMod.

Forza Motorsport 2 Soundtrack added into the playlist for the music player. It's on shuffle with about 100 songs atm, have a listen!
