I was just wondering if anyone else here liked airplanes other than me. If anyone does post a pic of your favorite airplane. I cant really decide on what i like best (It can also be older aircraft that they dont use anymore, for example the Beech Starship)

Yeah the F-22 Raptor would have to be my favorite jet fighter, then the B-2 would be runner up and the F-117 would be third.
For piston fighters i would say the P-38 lighning, then the P-51-D.
And as for personal use like i said i would perfer the Piaggio P180 or the Eclipse 500.
And as for you dsign Mech i think that will be a revolutionary design in aviation history-bound to break all the records ever set. You should really turn that into someone like Boeing or Northrop or Lockheed Martin.

Favourite? Grumman Goose (only what, 14 of them left in the world that are in any shape to fly?). An airline that operates out of the airport in my town has four of them that are based here. One of them:
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y259/Varmint264/PCGoose.jpg
This poor one had a few problems shortly after takeoff, but get this: they repaired it and it's one of the four based here where I live. Nice landing! Same one as in the above pic.

And did i ever say that it was? i never said anyhting about the B-2 being a fighter and as for the F-117, why do you think it has the "F" in front of it? Most of the time the "F" stands for fighter, and the "A" stands for "Attack" so whether you call it a F or F/A-117 (which is its full name) then its a "Fighter/attack" aircraft. the piont is that its a "F" not a "B" 117 if it was a "B" 117 then it wouldnt be a fighter.
Im not that stupid, you take me for an idiot. I was just saying of military/air force/navy/what ever else that may use a jet like that those would be my three main aircraft. From now on i will make sure i am perfectly accurate in my writing. And since your so smart in this stuff tell me what a SR-71 would be classified as. And dont use google to find it.

The F-117A (not F/A-117) has never been used as a fighter, and it never will be. The 'F' designation was to keep it secret, or a matter of Air Force pride, depending on who you talk to.
