View Full Version : How to get rid of 'Looking for updates' window?

i just got my new pc with vista, loaded CE went to play some MP and the updates window popped up saying to update i had to have Admin rights... well im admin.
so how do you get rid of the automatic update check?
i downloaded some vista update from halomaps.org but it didnt seem to do anything.

Download that and install it. It's the patch. Then run Halo CE, and it'll go to the game browse (after a short period with the checking for updates).

Be sure to go into the filters menu and enable view user maps. For some reason it's disabled on default.
