I've only seen it happen in Rats Nest, but if you take a warthog, and ram it headfirst with the ghost facing straight at you, into a ghost that is occupied, the ghost driver will die, and the warthog driver will get a splatter award, the ghost won't take a scratch.
Anybody ever seen this before?

That's weird.
I've splattered people in Ghosts normally with Warthogs (the Ghost explodes) but what you just said hasn't happened to me.
You should make a clip, sounds like it'd be a good laugh.

Never seen that before. I swear, some of the weirdest stuff happens in this game.

I remember I was chasing someone with a ghost on my warthog. I crashed into their back, got a splatter and the ghost was unaffected.

Here, let me go get a vid, I'll be back in a few mins.
(btw you'll have to have h3 to view)
Now that I'm watching it I realize that the ghost actually did blow up :\.
But it's still a great laugh, though.

I've done this plenty of times. It's just the way the vehicles work. You can splatter vehicles with other vehicles, liek the chopper and the wraith tanks.

Yeah, it happens in both halo 2 and halo 3, although I have yet to see the Ghost splatter other vehicles. It happens a lot when I ram a Warthog into a Ghost, though sometimes the Hog takes damage and sometimes it doesn't. However, I rarely see this in multiplayer, because not everyone is crazy enough to charge at a fully-manned tank using only a Ghost.

Hey! I'm crazy enough!
After you get close enough, the tank can't aim down enough to hit you. Beats the hell out of running away and increasing the chance of getting hit.
