A magnified version of the picture, posted on the internet, appears to some to show what resembles a human form among a crop of rocks.
While some bloggers have dismissed the image as a trick of light, others say it is evidence of an alien presence.
The image is a recent Nasa posting of the Spirit's landing in 2004.

Whats your verdict, Sasquatch or Dungpile.

See, the whole 'alien' on mars thing is fucked up, because to me, the depth/color of the 'alien' on the picture is all wrong, which meens it couldn't be a rock, unless its in the distance 'or' if theres a huge rock hitting it from a distance...or could just be 'mis colored'.

I don't think 'that' is an alien, but who knows, if things live on mars, ill be scared, cos for years of 'people' saying 'we can't be alone in the universe'...but so close as mars :confused:. wow! lol.

But no, i don't think there is 'living' beings, or at least not indigenous to Mars. I've always been an atheist, and believe in Evolution, which results me in also thinking (always have) that Aliens exist...but i won't go into that.

I heard about this, got bigger scans from NASA (Uncle works there), and the verdict... It's a big rock. The larger scans prove it by showing off more of the rock formation.
Unfortunately, the bigger ones are classified. Or maybe they're not, but I don't want the Feds coming after me if they are.

But the effect's similar to the old man on the mountain or the face on the moon.

They say that if we took all of our polluting gases and brought them to mars, the greenhouse effect would cause Martian polar ice caps to melt and flood the surface, slowly terra-forming the planet. In a sense it would be man made life I suppose. But until then, I don't think theres any significant life on mars..
