Yeah so i decided to improve on the last destination a bit
BUGS:
Some string errors
Wrong weapon pickup icons
pistol animations are blah
NEW:
Banshee and rockets temporarily removed
SMG and Energy Sword added
New animations
A secret for you to find
New ground texture
Credits:
Ki11a_FTW: BSP, and animations
Adumass: Grass and h2 human scenery
Conscars: the groud texture (was originaly for another map)
There will be a v3 with much more improvements and new geometry

Played it, to be honest it seemed kinda boring :(
I found the secret after 4 minutes, and I noticed that theres water flowing out of a rock.
Other than that, I found from flag to flag by the teles you can get there via the teleporters and back in under 10 seconds.
Keep working on it, and hide the secret better :D
Anyway, thats what I didnt like.
I liked the way you set it up so that forerunner stuff has the water flowing off it in a nice kinda way.
You edited the pistol, I like how you thought to edit it, but slowing down the fire isnt exactly great, Id say you should change the damage, and leave the firing rate the same.

No, I just have urges to get to the highest point in the map so I can snipe people :D
And then I just kinda accidently fell off the back :(
EDIT: Also, I noticed a gameplay issue that you can get into the water, put a death box or something just to stop that, or better yet, played clip to stop you from going over the edge.

Id say that you should move the switch to a different spot, not right next to the teleporter.
Finding two things is always funner than finding one.

That secret room was AWESOME. ODD choice of music though, it's not from the original...
As for the map, it's not bad, kinda pretty. Nice water coming off of the forerunner stuff. Nice animations for the SMG, too. (God, my 3ds max penis grows smaller every time I see other people make animations, lol)
Where'd that Sword come from though? That's definetly not one I've seen before.. I also noticed some of the glow from the sword is actually reflected off of walls and shit.

looks like an imitation-halo 3 sword. it's not the halo 2 sword because of two reasons the sword looks longer than the halo 2 sword and in fp view the sword looks, for lack of better words, more erect than the halo 2 sword (seriously be mature and don't take those word out of context). only thing that would be very hard to do is make the bloom that the halo 3 sword has and the energy fluctuations that occur within the sword.

Yeah with the sword i started messing around with how light reacts with the land, and i could not find the original music :(

I went into this map on devmode, and I did cheat_all_weapons. I noticed 2 energy swords-- the one in the pic and one that is lowered a bit. :confused2:

Well, I played it. I hate to sound like the fuhrer of animations here...
the SMG animations were a fairly close imitation of halo 2, but a lot of motions were quite unnatural. In the ready he slaps the gun like a baby seal. The melee was really good aside from a slight movement of the fingers when the melee hits its climax. The reload was extremely unnatural at the end, he once again slaps the gun around. However at the beginning I really like the way the magazine flies out, that was really cool.
I didn't like any of the battle rifle animations. The reload was very unnatural, the hand had hardly any time to pull the magazine out, and when it returned the gun was in a very odd position. The melee was pretty good, but it hardly looked like it was hitting anything.
The needlers were somewhat good, but the melee had no violence at all. I think that the reload was to high up, but other than that I liked the needler animations. I did think the origin was a bit off though.
The magnum animations leave me speechless.
The sword anims weren't good either. The fingers moved ridiculously, and the melee and fire anims lacked any forceful motion. They didn't look like they were hitting anything. What I DID like was the ready. How did you do that blade ignition?
The advice I can give you is to constrain better. It really does make things much easier, and constraining the right wrist controller to frame gun on the magnum would probably have kept the hand from clipping constantly.
