I've already gone through about 10 or 15 of the import/export formats between Max/Maya to move geometry back and forth, but haven't found one yet. Anyone know if there is a format that preserves the polygon information between Max/Maya? It's twice as difficult to make face selections for UVs when it's a mesh. Changing the model after that gives your more things to select. I'm working with simple models right now so call me lazy if you want, but my university is preaching productivity and I'll need something for this when I move into much higher poly scenes. I mean, our tests (other than things that could go into our portfolio) are things like "list 90 keyboard shortcuts and what they do".
