Xbox Live Retardation.

Hello. Right now I'm kind of pissed because I missed a good deal of the eclipse, I still have 2 essays to write, etc. So please bear with me xD.

Out of the blue seemingly I can't download any online content on my 360. I tried downloading the demo for DMC4 but it gave me a message with something to the effect of "You can't dl this because that type of content is restricted on your xbox live account". I went into my account settings (I'm using a "child" account because my parents were freaking out about the fact that they had an "18+" thing for movies =/), set all the settings to the maximum allowed values (ex. all games) and even went into the one that required the parental account password and such. None of that worked. It has never done this before. I thought at first that it was just the DL for DMC4 being stupid but now I can't download the video for GoW2 now. I tried the same thing but it is still refusing to let me download the damn trailer. Meanwhile it lets me play all of my games fine.

This is pissing me off to no end at the moment since I want to see the new version of the engine and no one has uploaded it to Youtube or anything yet, so if anyone has any suggestions on what I can do to fix it please do post them. I'll see if I can change my age in the windows live account thing but I doubt it will let me.

Hmm. Do you have your gamertag linked to your email account? Try changing your age on your email account. Because im pretty sure it checks both ages. One on your Live account and one on your email.

Oh, and can you play rated M games? If you can, it may not be an age issue. =/

Setup another email @ hotmail and make sure you are set to like 20+ years old.... Like Blahblahblahlegionaire@hotmail.com. Then go and setup another xbox live account with some random name. This account will be able to download the M rated stuff. If its a demo or movie, its viewable on BOTH accounts. This is how i got past my child blocks that I accidentally setup when i made my account.

I can play M rated games on my child account.
