Halo 2 Vista cd problems

Im having problems with my halo 2 vista cd. i start the disc but then i get the error that the disc is missing files. anyone help. My disc is legit. I bought it a like maybe 1 or few months. But i Hardly play it.

I had the same problem once, i don't remember what i did but it is a solvable problem. I do remember it was an easy solution. Sorry i can't be any more help. I'll try to remember.

Scrape up the reciept with the game on it and see if you can exchange it for another copy at the store it was purchased at.

When i had the same problem i do remember it was a problem with my computer not the disc. I remember because i have a backup image on my HD and it did the same thing on both. But oh well good luck.

im having the same problem now its really annoying

Simple solution. Reinstall vista. I believe i just used system restore and restored to the earliest point i could and it worked after that.

I'll try reinstalling Vista, my disk doesn't have scratches on it, and worst part is, cds that have thousands of scratchs work, I'm like WTF??

Yeah its my comp. i tried the disc on my sis's computer and it works. Im gonna reinstall Vista WOOO :3

i reinstalled vista and it still dont work =(
