Why can't a gaming console be used as a PC?

Architecture is totally different. Consoles uses different hardware than PCs. That's the way I understand it.

You might be able to run OS 9 on the 360. Basically, it has to do with the way the CPU processes data and what instructions it knows how to do.

I wish I could turn my Xbox into a full computer, haha. That would be just amazing! It's just so portable!!
