View Full Version : maxiumum materials on a gbx model?

well i am making a biped, and at first it had 50 different materials(dont ask), but tool gave me this error

### ERROR this model has too many materials.

so i had some useless materials in there and just renamed them to one of the other existing materials and im still getting the error, anyone know what the maximum material count is?

It would probably be better if you learned to unwrap UVWs, as that many materials on a single object will probably eat up a shit load of memory.

plus, every seperate material on the object, will be rendered as it's own object, eating up renderpasses.
