Well after hearing people ask for trees and I needing trees I decided to make and release some trees for the halo community.
The trees are in one max file and if you use gmax or something else you can import them from the .obj or .3ds files.
Please read the readme file to get the trees into you map and if you have trouble don’t hesitate to ask for help.

Only the 3d model is created by me. The bitmaps were created by someone at Bungie, You can thank Kornman00 for extracting the bitmaps from already compiled maps.

Nice modeling, look's like something bungie would make.

I think they're tree's that have been extracted for Halo PC/H2X... Oh well still good work and now maybe people have more detail to there maps.

2 of them are my own design and for the other 3 are rebuilds of bungie trees. i was going to do a clean rip but halo pc and h2 trees kinda suck.
so just to be clear, the 3 rebuilds are 100% rebuilds, i didnt rip and triangles.

im currently working on a new set of trees that will be 100% designed by me, including bitmaps.

After debating with myself for a while about the higher polycount they're going to make I decided to use them in my level that I'm working on:). They add a lot more detail although I converted the bitmaps to 32-bit color and redid the shaders after moving all the image files around.

The map screenshot itself looks really nice. Cool lighting, too bad nobody will make a "foresty" map.
