I brought Halo 2 at wal-mart becasue I think it's must to buy and not pirate. Well I activated 5 times now due to hardware failure on my hard drive and also people kept messing with it. So I my new hard drive and formated pass 3 days and I was very unhappy that activation by phone or the tech support did not went through. I kept recalling a diffferent tech but right after they will say "hold please, its not going through" after they say that few mins later, I get "If you like to make a call please hang up and try again." I not sure whats going on but I very upset that this is my first game product activation I ever did, why microsoft why did you put that there for?

So I guess my key die? how long do I have to wait so I reactivation over the net? This is my 2nd copy vista I used and its not illgal, I try this 2nd copy and it activated halo 2 before. Now I can't? Please someone help me out!

Edit: I repeat, I did brought this. Proof: Page 17 is where the engery sword Length 3 feet. Case made by nexpak :p

H2V has issues with activating after repeated hardware changes. It sees it as a separate machine, and you can only activate it on 3 machines total.

I would bring it back and get a refund, MS has dropped support of H2V.

I guess I return it to wal-mart but its been since augest I have it. :( oh well. I just wait and see because it took me 2 months to activated windows xp one time. If 2 months comes and no activation, their goes halo 2 pc out the door.

Just wish they didn't put that stupid thing there.

Mister Kiwi lists Some fun games.
So, Changing Your HDD unactivates the game and counts as a new install?
Interesting, Time to update my activation info post.
