Run tool through the command prompt.

It's even in the HEK tutorial, come on. This has got to be one of the most asked questions in the history of CE.

As a general rule, I dont answer questions that have been answered in a tutorial that you should have read.

Ive read the tutorial but i cant run it. I type in "tool.exe" then it tells me its not a valid Win32 application, and then it says access denied.

this how it looks

C:\Users\Jorge.Owner-PC>tool.exe
Access is denied.
C:\Users\Jorge.Owner-PC>

You have to navigate to the right directory.

cd\program files\microsoft games\halo custom edition

<c:\> cd program files\microsoft games\halo (or something)
<Halo custom edition> tool.exe build-cache-file levels\test\bloodgulch\bloodgulch (for example)

Go to your windows\system32 folder, copy and paste cmd.exe into your halo ce directory. From there, you can just write tool instead of entering the directory every time.
