I was bored, and as thinking of something to do when my eyes fell upon my CYMA CM028s airsoft gun. well.....a 2x4, some powertools, and a few hours later, I have Real Wood on my gun......saving the $200+ it takes to buy them...

What do you think?

NOTE:Please ignore the electrical tape temporarily covering the holes that were for my origional collapsable stock....And the boxyness of the handle was unavoidable due to the size of the motor that is inside it. The origional grip was about 1/16 of an inch thick, and that was sturdy plastic, not wood. I also need to do more coats of stain

For the DIY work, I think it looks nice. The handle could be better, but nice.

looks pretty nice, especially the stock. but i think you should redo the upper half of the fore grip, looks kinda ew.

i paid $85 for it on ebay, and have put around $60 in it including a 6.03mm Tightbore, m120 equivilent spring, G&P pison/piston head, and new shimmings/bushings...

it shoots around 320fps now very very accuratly...

is that the CM028? If so, the wood looks much nicer than mine did....

oh and HERE IS THE ORIGIONAL (http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=1485)

oh, not a bad deal at all, seeing as how most new ones cost around that total with only 280 fps :) and yes, same gun.

Yeah, I read that too. Pitty the idiots dont realize it's being used more because it one of the best price/performance guns out there. Looking on the internet I can get one for about 300 bucks. I'm sure I could get one for much less at a gun show or something.

It just looks epic. And it's cheap and reliable, I'd love to own one to shoot (but I want an m14 first >_>). But there's not doubt I would rather have an m16 with me if it were a life/death situation.
