It's Spring, and yet it is snowing. It has been snowing for the past 8 hours. Your about 3 months too late snow. It would have been nice if you fell in the Winter.

You see where I live near Seattle, WA. It never really snows, just on freak occasions like today. Anyone else have the same problem?

Now I'll have to battle my way to work in 3 inches of snow:hist101:

Yes. I got a mini snowstorm this morning. I live in New York. It's getting ridiculous. We had spring temperatures for a few weeks, then this?

no. you don't know the half of it. We got our first snow storm december 3rd. and it was a big one. like 8 inches i think (that's what she said >_>) and ever since then it has been constantly snowing. and not just flurries, fucking massive storms every week or every other week. i can't take it anymore. Here it is, march 28th and we just got another 5 inches of snow. i have not seen grass in like 3 months. the snow piles on the side of my driveway had gotten up to like 5 feet. not to mention mustangs do NOT like snow -_-. i've had enough snow for one year....

Same here, in mainland Vancouver, it snowed SUPER-HEAVILY at 9 am this morning, and by 1 pm it was 100% gone. Then rain followed about 2.5 hours later. Initially, I was horrified since I didn't dress adequately so I'm actually glad the snow melted. I guess my weather would be similar to the weather patterns in the northernmost areas of Washington state.

trade spots? I hate rain... I'll take that snow away from you gladly, mb get some more snowboarding in... XD

shittiest winter ever... we got maybe a season total of like 8 inches... 3 mini storms.... in which it all turned to rain, then one big storm, which also turned to rain, no actual snow stayed on the ground here for more then 2 days strait... Fuck this place... w/e... it cancels out cuz I was able to drive this season and ended up snowboarding every weekend at mountain creek even though the conditions were constantly and inconsistently terrible. Ice slush ice sluch ice sluch repeat repeat fall ow fall *soaked*... I want powder.

Then again I've had enough, and just want the cold to go the hell away, cuz thers no hope for anymore snow around here for the rest of the season. If its cold out and its not snowing then its a waste of everyones body heat.

Give me snow or give me heat damn it.

Let's see here... Normally, in the summer, it stays around 100-103 degrees, though it CAN get as high as 106 in LA and 110-115 in Death Valley.

I'm used to it, so I don't mind it. However, I have to start wearing a jacket at around 57 degrees or lower, to put it in perspective.

It snowed for like an hour at school and it did not stick, or it stuck but then melted.

And then there was just 5 minutes ago where it started hailing for a good 10 minutes and now everything is white :\

It's supposed to rain here tomorrow and Tuesday, but it's snowing everywhere else. So much for all that "Canada iz frozen all teh time!!11!! lolz!1!!" stereotypes.

Mr Buckshot
March 30th, 2008, 08:35 PM
Actually, Hotrod, Canada is frozen all the time in more than half the land because we're so far up north. That is why we have a smaller population than California despite having more physical land than the entire U.S., since most of Canada is way too cold to develop on. Places like the Yukon are almost devoid of human life. If you haven't noticed, all the big economic centres are located near the border, not just because of trade but because such regions are the warmest places in Canada.

I wouldn't mind travelling to the de facto winter areas though.

In the meantime, it's 10 degrees Celsius outside and the sun is bright. I think spring is finally showing its face. Fuck off, winter! You're not wanted in April!

Hotrod
March 30th, 2008, 09:45 PM
No, I know that the northern part of Canada is like that, but here, in Ottawa, it's the same thing as in the US, but some people that I've talked to from there (not trying to offend anybody here) think that once you cross the border, you reach a big frozen land where everybody lives in igloos.
