I don't have any of those things.
However, I'd love to be in Sigma. Its probably one of the only respectable map teams around. I can draw really well, so if you need that, then I'm your man. But besides that, I can't really skin. At least I've never tried.

There has to be something worth people spending their time on... cant expect people to assess whether they're up for the job or not without a taste for what is to come.

Way to post ONLY donut's work there arbiter lol. Basically everything pictured is all from donut. The br's model, the hud, the magnum, basically everything. The only thing that isn't his is the BR animations, which are mine. We have a policy of not stealing anyones work, not even bungies, so basically everything in our maps is completely custom. We do need a texturer though.. poor geo is already pretty over worked.

Well to try and give you some CC for the battle rifle model, it is pretty good in my eyes (not basing this judgment on how accurate it is and also noting my less then par knowledge of weapons) the main things I personally would change is. Make the triangular indentations less harsh, more rounded slightly. Make the grip look less "bulgy" if you want to call it that, sort of looks inflated right now. Make the trigger and trigger guard less boxy (the handle too, its awkward looking), and also make the back end of the gun less harsh, its kind of boxy as well. Also the proportions when comparing the barrel to the gun itself seem to be off, being that the barrel is a bit too fat, and maybe a little too short.
At a first glance it looks like an ok model, you can tell what it is, but the big things I would change that will make it more acceptable to your avg joe is what I stated above I think.
I am in no way claiming I'm correct in any of the above statements, and there more so suggestions to make the model look more eye pleasing, the number of weapons I actually have ever modeled accounts to zero.. I have how ever drawn some... occasionally. *Realizes his need to practice this more*.
Hope that helps somewhat, I think it'll look nicer if you do what I said though, again its just my opinionated information.

So you're the best artist in Texas? I wasn't aware they had a competition for that. Unless of course you mean you've placed first in a generalized event, obviously not encompassing the entire population of artists in the state. You meant that, right? Because that's hardly anything to brag about, especially when you consider it equal to years of study and discipline at a technical institute. But please, go ahead and put that on your resume:
"Well sir, you don't seem to have any formal education..."

i worked on two games. if i could tell you the titles i work on, i would, but the non-disclosures prohibit that.
i hardly consider helping people learn how to further their skills a waste of my time. i grew up with this community, kinda hard to leave it behind. i'd show you a simple 20 minute concept/plot/sketch/hand render, but i'd do terrible at explaining the technique involved. i've tried explaining the concept process and such to a few people over the web, but, i'm a terrible instructor.
