Personally I try to find another quiet person I can identify with. The girl I've been talking with has been saying that she's bored with her life and wants a change, which is something I think we can really help each other with. Now if I can just get her to escape from the guy she's with right now - who from what I've seen when I've been out to movies with them - isn't really very good to her. I've seen them lean on each other, but beyond that he just doesn't talk to her at all, and completely ignored her for about half of her own birthday party.

Recently I was chasing this girl that I have known since the sixth grade. She recently broke up with her boyfriend who I personally thought was the greatest thing for her, seemed like a really nice guy from what she told me. (Not the ahole type) Well we started talking for weeks on end contently texting one another. Personally i had enormous feeling for her and at the time it seemed she felt the same way. However she said she didn't want a relationship. Now me, being the dumb, stupid idiot i am should have realized that it might have meant she didn't want a relationship with me. Continuing on. I took her on a little shopping spree, despite her not wanting me to i did it anyway. With 200$ in my wallet - 40 for a lunch at Ruby Tuesday the rest was all hers. She was incredibly fast, i was expecting at least like 3 hours. Took her maybe 1 and a half hours. So i asked her if she wanted to come to my house for maybe another 2 hours. Unfortunately she was kicking my ass on the xbox. Surprisingly she wasn't bragging. Theres more gooshy touchy feely details but i doubt you want to hear them.

I admit i fucked up, bad. Despite my apologizes i don't think she did forgive me. Heres what happened. That next Tuesday i asked her if maybe she wanted to come over again. I was messing around with her with my fingers sort of like playing around. Well i thought maybe i could make her laugh if i tried to tickle her belly. And thats when things went vrrroooooom down. She just said my hands where cold and i immediately backed off. Well after i had dropped her off i got a text message from her saying that, "You went to far." I apologized, i think she thought i was trying to get up to her chest, and while i would have loved to be allowed to do that it wasn't my intention. None the less shortly after texting became less, she seemed to not want to talk to me. (i cant Imagen why) About 2 weeks later i was asking her a question and then she said yeah i have a boyfriend now.
She asked if her new boyfriend could send me a message. I was in such a awe that i said yeah. The words i got where Stop bothering her. I said explain. He said she doesn't even like you. At first i laughed for about 2 hours, then cried for a week. It was the worse then when i had to go into surgery to get a foot of my intestines removed due to chrones. I cried and didn't sleep for that whole week. If i did sleep it was no more than 4 hours at a time.

Now i really like this girl, to a point where i found myself writing poems to her. I was on my best behavior to try to impress her. I did not lie if she asked me a personal question, i didn't try to avoid it. Maybe i tried to hard, and that me touching her on her belly was the last straw. I don't know
I didn't complain to her about how she said she didn't want to be in a relationship and now is. I didn't remind her of how much attention i tried to give to her. Because no matter what i would have said, weather it be sorry, or something else it didn't matter. I lost, and there was nothing i could do about it other than to suck it up and learn from it. Everyone was like, move on and i swear i wanted to slit there throats. I wasn't fibbing when i told her how i felt. She made me feel like i actually had something worth wild in my life.

Maybe i have to be more of a asshat and stop being so kind. Ethier way its been eating me up for weeks now. Time for some sleeping pills to mellow out, considering i can't drink. My head won't stop running the what 'ifs'.

I think that theres a fine line between being nice and being creepily nice. I used to think the 'half an asshole strategy' worked but for me it never worked any better than just being plain nice. Its a psychological fact that (young? not sure if this pertains to only young women) women like the challenge of changing the bad boy into the good boy, so there is some truth to the strategy, but eventually you will end up pushing her away if you keep it up. But then again that last part may just be drawing on my own experiences..

While your advice DOES work on some girls, most will just see you as an asshole. The happy medium tends to lean more on the overall "good guy" side, where you tease her every now and then, but do it rarely and let her know you're just kidding around. And you don't have to agree to EVERYTHING she says, just most of it. For instance, yesterday my girlfriend wanted me to knock on my neighbor's door, yell "PENIS!" and run away (It was my idea, and I was just joking around with her). Did I do it? No. But I do most of what she tells me to do, and just try to be as nice as possible. I have a reputation for not breaking any of her promises.
If you're mostly just an asshole to a girl, you'll get the hot girls, sure, but they won't love you for who YOU are. Unless you really are an asshole, in which GTFO.
My best advice is be yourself. Don't change for someone, that could lead to a sticky situation.

He is correct, for the most part. You don't have to go out of your way 100% of the time, 97-99% works just fine, and is closer to a happy medium. No, that is true with 95% of girls. And it applies to all girls, young and old, there is a challenge to turning the "Bad Boy" into the "Good Boy". However, just BE YOURSELF. If you're not really an asshole, don't act like one.

Humor is a BIG strong point, I can't believe I left humor out of my guide. BE FUNNY! Usually, if you can make her laugh, she'll fall in love with you. Usually.

My girlfriend wants to commit suicide with a drug OD. There are reasons to why she wants to, but I won't post them due to the fact that I respect her privacy. And no, none of them involve me. She hasn't done it because I stepped into her life at just the right moment, but I'm afraid that one day, she will. She promised me that if she ever does it, she'll let me know beforehand so I can come over and say goodbye. That'll give me about 3 minutes to try to talk her out of it if she ever does it, but, due to her stubbornness, I know I won't be able to talk her out of it. I only managed to talk her out of cutting herself once, and that took me 2 hours of standing strong and telling her not to, which made her start begging and pleading, but, right as I thought I could make her stop, she applied pressure, and made me start begging and pleading for her not to. In the end, I managed to talk her out of it... For that day. 2 days afterwards, I noticed fresh cuts on her hand.
I can't get her help for either one of those two problems, because those were both secrets that only I was supposed to know. I'm only posting it here because of the relative anonymity of the internet, and I know 4Chan wouldn't help.

So, former H2V, how can I convince her to not commit suicide? That's the big one, I could deal with her cutting, but if she disappears from my life forever... I don't know what I'd do. ESPECIALLY if I knew I could have helped, but I failed.

Parents had a big fight and divorced. Dad still loved mom, mom had no feelings for dad. Dad committed suicide, mom started drinking.
My grades started to go downhill, I'm getting solid D-'s in all my subjects, and there is a chance I may not be able to go to college.
My girlfriend and I recently stuck up for a guy all our former friends were picking on, and in return became hated by absolutely everyone except him. 2 days later he moved, so now neither one of us has any real friends besides each other.
My sis ran away from home yesterday, the police are involved, and we still haven't found her. My girlfriend and I have been out almost all day searching for her.
3 weeks ago, my best friend, who I've known since 1st grade, got in a car accident. He's in the ER still. The good news is he's starting to recover.
Not to mention there are now pictures of me in drag going around the internet, I realized I suck at modeling, and the only thing I'm really good at in the HEK is scripting, Sapien, and Guerrilla. Since I suck at everything else, why even bother?
I just want to make the world a better place by cheering up one person at a time. Doing ONE good deed to someone to make their life better. I've always wanted to help people out, no matter what the cost.
And I'm punished for it.
I just fail at life. Only person who really cares about me anymore is my girlfriend.
