None of you guys have to do this, but a cool idea would be a way to get H2V Graphics settings like the way they are in Halo 1. You know how you can edit the particles, decals, etc... This would be really cool because then it would encourage more people with crappy GFX cards to play that game. I dont even know if this is possible, but it would be a great idea and greatly appreciated by the community!

I would approve of halo 2 having that, but if I can run halo 1 on almost full, I should be able to play halo 2 with something close to the same graphical quality, and get the same performance.

But of course, microsoft doesnt love us.

You would think, but I played Halo PC with a hi res textures mod, conscars bloom thing, and forced 8x anisotropy and STILL got 90 FPS. H2v on medium which looks like shit by comparison puked up about 25.

My filters (or any filters) don't even work anymore with halo, it causes exception on startup. It's so odd, it was working one day then the next it wasn't.

haven't played Halo in a while, but that never happened to me. And its not like an update could have screwed it up :v

Turn devmode off if you are using it.

The engine is garbage ;-; I love how the Source engine can play on such crappy PCs with quite a reasonable FPS.

What would be cool? If H2vista didn't BLOW ASS for modding.

It's all Microsoft's fault. I wish Bungie had taken a part in the porting process, they woulda fixed so much shit.

Actually, they did "fix" that shit. I'll just leave it at that though.

Man speaks the truth. I can run Source games on a Geforce MX 4000 with 25 FPS.

Yes.

I had a 1+ generation old comp at the time I got source, and I had a 5500, and I could play 1024x768 on CSS and I got around 60/70 fps.

Now I have an X1650, and then I can play H2 at 640x480 at about 30 fps and it still skips and pauses.
