preparation H + eye = owe

So, I was applying my daily dose of preparation H in a certain area, i'm not going to name it. Like any sanitary person, I washed my hands thoroughly with soap and water after the application, BUT apparently, the ointment does not like to come off your fingers after you wash them. When I was walking into my room, I itched my eye and now its almost swelled shut and burns like a mofo.

Doctors anyone?

I just got back from the doctors, all is good. They gave me some eyes drops, similar to the ones for pink eye.
