Okay, I was wondering, what sizes are considered the following?

-Small
-Medium
-Large
-Coldsnap (heh)

In case you were wondering, I'm new to this community, but not new to map making, I have been idle with Halo CE maps for about a year, so I can't remember for bullhonkey what size my map "Fate's_Gulch" was, and my comp pooped out so the files are gone.

Can you clarify your question? Your grammar is throwing me off.

small - no vehicles can really be used
medium - light armoured vehicles such as warthogs and ghost etc.
large - every usable vehicle in halo are able to fit comfortably in the map without difficulty
coldsnap - extremely large vehicles such as longsword etc.(friget may be too big)

that's how "I" classify maps. i dont know the actual classifications for map size.

My bad guys, I know the general size, I mean like, in 3ds units... Like... I have a level that is 800x800... It looks kinda... Foundry sized with my little MC cube sitting in there...

Mine would definatly qualify as small, I just don't want to make it so small that it isn't playable... The midget size it already is is offset by some walls in the middle that are around 1.5 Master Chiefs tall...

Yeah... I'll upload a screenshot when I get the chance...

I thought Master chief was 70x70...

Oh well, just merge him from the tutorial map then use him for scale.

MC = 69.00 world units tall. and i think he's like 30.00 or something wide...

these are approximate measures.

Yeah, I'd say the level is as big if not a little bigger or smaller than Foundry on Halo 3.

Use 70x30x20 for MC scale.

Small - Beaver Creek
Medium - Blood Gulch
Large - Infinity.

Sidewinder isnt really that much bigger than BG.

Id consider anything that isnt small, to be medium, with the exclusion of infinity which is the only map Id consider large.

k?...

That looks good... If that's the case... my map is super midget tiny... it's a 1000 X 1000 map I think.

This model (http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/9328/lololololololcopyea2.jpg) is 6,200 x 20,000. The playable part is about 3,000 x 7,000.
