cant load; get dark blue box

pls be gentle. I bought Halo 2, and have been trying to load. I get solid dark blue box when it auto exe.

can anyone help/advise pls?

As for your question, are you saying that your autorun menu is just a blue box?

If the autorun doesn't work try going to your Halo 2 folder and just running halo2.exe

Maybe its a hardware problem. What are the specs on your PC? Sounds fishy to me.

Also just asking, what OS are you running?

I think I recall seeing this with Internet Explorer versions lower than 7. If you're using it on XP, all I can say is to upgrade to Internet Explorer 7, even if you use Firefox. Other than that, we don't support running the game on incompatible operating systems.
