Mouse Issue in Games

[Bad Waffle]

i get some really stupid offset with the mouse which makes it impossible to navigate menus. Here's what it looks like.

happened to me before too, it was strange. It does the same thing with snipping tool when you try to draw. I don't know how to fix it, I reformatted for a fresh start anyway and it went away.

maybe installing the latest drivers might work if you haven't already.

It used to do this to me in certain games when I ran it at a differant resolution then what windows was running, but that doesn't seem to be your issue since it does this in flash games as well. I fixed my problem by reinstalling my graphics drivers.

One thing you could do is go into the device manager and check to see if there's any extra mouse devices.

Be careful though.. because if you disable too many -- you'll probably be looking to either install a second mouse or use your keyboard to re-enable your actual mouse.

Happened with my tablet -- it created multiple mouse drivers -- which in turn meant I was clicking on multiple things at once, or clicking in places where the cursor wasn't, etc.
