i was cleaning my room, and accidentally vacuumed my xbox live headset.... it pulled out of the controller and the wires came out

Just use a hands-free car phone headset if you have one; anything that plugs into the controller. If not, you could always try shoving the wires back in there and hope it works after you duct-tape it together >_>

ive had that happen cept the wire was snapped like half way up the thing. i just stole one of my buddys extras since i didnt feel like attempting to soder something like that back.. doubt it woulda worked anyways.

if someone could take theirs apart so i could see where the wires go, i could solder them back on. i understand why you wouldn't want to do that though

yeah i know, but i dont know what wires go where. thats why i would appreciate (and plus rep with my 0 rep power :p) anyone who could show me which wires go where. then i would be all set

i finally got to my cousins house and used his soldering iron. it works fine now in case anyone was wondering lol

After you run it over with the vacuum again. I suggest buying the wireless just to save money down the road.

wow dude, why would you even leave your headset on the ground in the first place? and why not spend $10 and get a 3rd party headset?
