It was from a game on pnet where the client (who this film was from) didn't have any modded maps, but I did and so this is what they see when the host hacks j00 up.

Then with that logic, this video is superlame.

It's just like when vehicle positions manage to lose sync in Halo CE. Kornman sees an elephant somewhere, but Xenon does not. He'll walk into a spot where it is, and be kicked back when the game updates player positions.

Kornman owns a Devbox. He was playing against Xenon on PartnerNet(?), which from what I understand, is the Developer's XBox LIVE. This is about the only way you can mod Halo 3 past hacking map variants with XSATA or some shit.

It shows that Halo 3 syncs one-sided mods worse than Halo PC. Kornman was the server, and he modded Sandtrap so the AR fired rockets, and the pistol fired Elephants. Xenon's Sandtrap was stock, so it didn't show the AR rockets or the spawned Elephants. However, damage effects and player locations still tried to sync, as you watched Xenon blow himself sky high by just shooting his foot, and kornman seeming to fly around while he was just walking on an Elephant.

The method in which the vehicle is created doesn't happen with clients.

Forge mods sync because everyone downloads the map variant from the host before the game starts.
