This seems to be the only GoldSrc worth owning, so is it good enough to be purchasing Opposing Force on Steam for just ten bucks? I don't want to bother with Blue Shift, because it sucks and I really don't think of the High Def pack as a big deal. Hopefully the AI won't be as dumb and predictable as it was in Half Life:Source. I never bothered to play any of the none Source engine Valve games.

I know there is a Source engine mod being worked on but it's looks Operation:Black Mesa won't be released this year.

GET IT YOU DUNCE. But all jokes aside, its the only HL expansion that I think is worth buying besides Blue Shift.

:p. I pretty much figured that Opposing Force was the only good Half Life expansion for the PC. Now to navigate Steam because they saw fit to not put it next to the rest of the Half Life games. Now its downloading and has to pre load Half Life as well, and Comcast just loves going so slow.

Definitely get it. Also you can look forward to this mod if you do. http://www.moddb.com/mods/8428/opposing-force-coop
It's OpForce coop, it's shaping out to look pretty good. They're getting close to releasing v2 which will be almost perfect.

Got it, downloaded custom models from FPS Banana for the Mp5 and Desert Eagle. Played Training course. Now too relive the fun of the effects of the resonance cascade again.(yeah right :p)

I didn't know about the CO-OP mod, but I only care to play Team Fortress 2 for multi player, for now.

Uh, Half Life isn't a GoldSrc game worth owning? What?

You should have gotten the anthology pack, nub.

Opposing force has the feeling of way too much content shoved into one package, with mixed results. A lot of the level design can be really buggy, I got stuck in a few places and had to load to finish the game.

I all ready have Half Life: Source so its the same game just on Source, and Blue Shift sucks, so no. And I'm closing this topic since it serves no purpose now that I have the game, and if you people want to discuss this game. Make your own damn topic.
