In my opinion, they are pretty close to being the same.

They are pretty close to being the same. Sapien has a few locked features that typical users wouldn't ever need. A hobo doesn't.

a hobo doesn't crash as easy, it overrides some errors I believe.

Pretty much, unless your diving deep into development for the game, nothing is different to you.

I didn't track the changes I made like I did after my second time around in fixing guerilla. but, aficr, it's nothing so drastic that it's blocking you from making quality maps with just sapien.
