Well I had a job at our prom and i was the guy at the booze stands.
Turned out to be a major suckage - i hardly danced at all let alone having any fun. sure, i handled a lot of money and some miracoulously dissapeared in my pockets and me and some other folks at the stands got a few kicks out of pranks we pulled on the drunk guys but other than that it was a major let down while everyone else had fun.
the sexless after prom was slightly better. the discriminated stands-folk and me would just hang out, drink most of the alcoholics left over from the prom, get drunk, chat and fuck around alot.
lets say i saw better parties :/

btw: idk if the above really compares to an actual american "prom". it was more like a party on behalf of the entire (high) school and organised by some voloutneers.

I really have it bad for my prom. I found out Wednesday I was nominated as junior prince for my prom, but as I had already accepted an invitation two weeks before that for another one, I can't go to mine (both are tonight, BTW.) So the worst-case scenario for me is having a pissed-off girl to deal with Monday if I'm voted as prince, when she realizes that her dance partner isn't there to dance with her.

edit: and yes, I agree, you will post the pics, Pooky. Now I have to go get ready for said prom. (and I'll upload pics of mine, probably either tomorrow or Monday.) I'm in Colorado right now, and strangely enough it was snowing earlier. And now for a random wierd thing about the prom I'm going to: no after prom.
