Hey I am trying to find out how do I make footsteps imprints on the floor to appear so I can animate in 3ds max.

new texture. put a square plane each place he step. that's how it works ingame =P(when on sandtrap)

if it's me. the foot print is an effect tag that happens each time you walk. it's just, like every effect in halo, planes put together to make a good flowing view with texture, in this case a foot imprint, that happens each time you step instead of firing or something.

to the op, if your asking how to make footprints show as you walk, just add an effect tag to the cyborg.material_effects tag, then within that effect tag, add a decal that spawns (the texture of the decal will be a footprint obviously).
