I debated posting this in the "RIP Heath Ledger" thread, but I figure since we don't have a devoted Batman movie thread, why not make one. Discuss anything about the upcoming film, I suppose. Personally, after watching this trailer, The Joker seems less of a psychopath than I had hoped they were going for. He seems far too casually organized. What do y'all think?

I have faith in this movie. So far, I thought the best Joker was Mark Hamill (he voiced the joker in the 1992 animated series, the 1997 New Batman Adventures, and the 1999 Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker). I'm a hardcore Justice League fan, especially for Batman.

IMO, the Joker looks more psycho in this rendition than in the comics. In the comics, he's more like an insane crime lord, but in the movie, he looks like some totally deranged person who could truly strike fear into a hero's heart.

From the stuff I saw in the previews when I saw Iron Man today, it looks horrible. :\

The Joker doesn't even cackle maniacally, what is a Batman movie without that? Seriously, looks like the actor didn't do a good job at all in the parts I saw. Then some of the other stuff... just didn't look all that appealing. I probably won't be watching the movie.

Sounds true. I saw Iron man earlier and the DK trailer looked terrible. I'm still gonna watch it, but I hope it's as good as it looks.

Heath Ledger does a much better job than Jack Nicholson ever did.
