Race gametype

Ok, this is simple (I think) I can't figure it out for some reason. I'm trying to setup a race game type in sapien; I put player track race spawns and play vehicle race spawns. I put in all the vehicles in the map, I checked all the things, (ctf default, ctf allowed, etc...). When I play ctf/slayer, the vehicles spawn. When I play race none of the vehicle spawn. I even set the game type so it would spawn all the vehicles.

I set a race game type before, but forgot how.

I looked at one my old maps that has race setup, tried setting it up the same way and no go.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I think there's a thing where vehicles only spawn if more players join. Not sure about that though, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I had this problem too. even though i put the race vehicle spawn things in only one vehicle would spawn, it was a normal warthog. i had 4 different vehicles in and only one type spawn. i ended up scripting the vehicles in but didn't set them to only spawn in race, so when you played slayer you had twice as many vehicles. and when the vehciles respawned they all spawned at 0 on all axises and flew everywhere. never released the map.

Yea, they do. i made a map once specifically for race, had lots of cool jumps and stuff, thought it was pretty fun.

If anyone knows how to set it up, can you please tell me how to do it, so I can see what I'm not doing. thank you

Isn't there a marker you place under the same category as a race beacon which is dedicated to vehicles?

Did you try making your own gametype in halo and naming it something like ALLVEHRACE and setting it to spawn all vehicles?

as zeph said, you cant use regular vehicle spawns for race.

i cant tell you exactly where it is, because my sapien is broke, but just like a netgame flag or race spawnpoint, in that drop down list... there should be one for race vehicles.

Ok so I tried the equipment flags vehicles spawn and I put four spans one team 0 and four on team 1 and only the warthog spawns.
