Posting this here was the last thing I wanted to do, but my patience has reach its limits and my frustration is so big. Cause I'd be able with the help of some guys of my partners to finish this damn map in like 15 days but, I simply don't have the last V2 files in hands.. as some may already know, I sent all the stuff to ctralt like 2 month ago cause we were stuck with a big error + I wanted him to make sime precise corrections in the model and in sapien... he worked a bit on V2 stuff I wanted then ended by finding the error 3 weeks ago, then we talked and he said he had just some more stuff to do to accomplish the list of stuff I wanted...
Since this time, I'm every day on AIM trying to reach him (sending tons of messages) also , I sent 5 PMs and got absolutly Zero news from him.
Of course, I could work again from the older V2 version, but we would still have the error + all the work made by ctrl would be lost.. this would mean more wasted time..
I really feel desprerate by this story, V2 is not leaving my head for almost 3 years.. there have been so many difficulties, so much wasted time, now this last thing is really letting me want to leave it and live with my anger and pain..
Now this is my last try, if someone knows any other way to contact CtrlAlitDestroy then PMing him here or AIM, PLZ tell me. Also, of you have any chance to speak with him, tell him to check his PM or to send the stuff back to me (even unfinished) on my email (email in the PMs).

Ctrl, if you're reading, thks so much for all you did on V2 man, but as I guess you may be busy with other things, plz just take 3mins to send me V2 stuff back , PLEASE. Its nothing for you, Everything for me.

Have you politely asked him whether he wants to continue the project? If its a volunteer position, he should not be afraid to quite (even though it is an inconvenience), and harassing him with messages won't give you an answer; it is more likely that that will actually backfire.

I just wanted to say, thanks for not giving up on V2 and making the best of what you already have... I am sorry to hear about CtlAltDelete, but yeah, who knows what is up with him... I can only hope that its just a minor hiccup in his life that is preventing him from getting back to you. I would offer what little help I can give, but I don't really have the time until summer, I'm a junior in HS so I can't be modding when I have homework to do... Haha, I don't really have much of a life unfortunately... but hey... there's always a reason huh bud?

But yeah, thanks again... I would love to help you beta test the map!

And if you are willing to put up with "HS weekend scarcity" I would love to help you debug, that seems to be my forte, I can research error codes for hours on end without getting frustrated... I will admit I tend to turn to forums frequently though.

i dno... i had to UVW unwrap it.. the way it was modelled seemed pretty unique.. like there was a lot o optimising to be done as if it were modelled by someone who has not attended art school and studied 3D art... - ddint see anything like it on turbosquid or any other 3d model sharing places.

If it comes to a replication, I prefer playing a map with ripped content. It just makes it 100% accurate. Its just more cool when the creator makes it completely by himself ,and adds in his own little touches, Such as the CMT BR (not that I liked it) with its grenade secondary fire.

He doesnt say he was modelling a biped... he said making as in processing the model into .biped tags for ingame use.

he was up for playing a little community fun by posting the ready progressive states of the model to see if people could guess what 'biped not model' he was making and people on this forum ruined it instantly (go back and check, nothing to do with stealing acusations).

If you check the turbosquid model you'll find it has no texture thats why Matooba was posting updates of the newly textured model to go in Halo.....

I dont see where in his posts he claims:

to have modelled it from scratch
to model it at all
that he didnt get it from turbosquid...Keep an open mind people here... instead of jumping on the :bandwagon:

Hell if he said he modelled it then yeah hes lying but i just feel the evidence didnt add up against him before the 'Shunning' began... tbh wasnt really shun was more of an ignorant rant. But i guess if you got personal evidence that he states he modelled it then yeh hes lying although i can only see that the uncalled for 'shun' provoked the PM...so in court this evidence would be destroyed. :XD:

I haven't seen him around, and personally, whenever I get busy as all hell, I cut all ties with the internet until what I need to get done gets done. Granted, sometimes I cheat and look at the forums to see what's new, but that's it. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what he's doing.
