I was searching for Halo keys on ebay (for a friend who wants to play with me online).

I also went on their website (http://digitalflow.info/DOWNLOADhalo2.html).

They have a 99.8% approval rating on eBay. They also have some customers (in their feedback profile), that shows that the product works (though one customers complained they couldn't get on live [but he explains this wasn't the sellers fault]).

I wanted an opinion on the legitimacy of the software (though, from their description on their website, it does seem like it could work).

I will reinstall XP on an Ubuntu machine and try it out. Worst comes to worst, I'll have wasted $9.99.

I'm happy, I have another weekend challenge/project.

ONLINE PLAY: Our software was designed for the single player experience. We do not recommend running Windows LIVE or playing online as our program does not support those options.

Scam/Ripoff. You can do everything this can do for free from halo2xp.tk

Or you can just buy Halo 2 for Xbox which is superior in every way.

Wont work on LIVE. Dont waste your money, get the free version that works on SP.

Problem with it on XP is you cant make custom games, ie you cant play custom maps =\

Yes, I realize I was wrong. I'm the idiot in this scenario.

In any case, I'd suggest that the thread be locked. There is nothing relevant to discuss, and the topic discussed was semi-illegitimate anyway.

I feel foolish that I didn't research it.

You can actually lock it yourself, since you created the topic; go to "thread tools" at the top. ^ Riiight there. If you have the forum in default layout.
