The particle effects look about 3 years old. I guess they intend to have massive amounts of particle effects on screen at any given time, but still. It doesn't feel next gen.
But hey, I guess I'm being a hypocrite, having recently stated that a game doesn't need to have a next gen engine to be fun.

But this is a card game. Gross.
